Jeff Banks is the President and Founder of JBX Financial. Jeff graduated from the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After graduation Jeff joined the United States Air Force, where he served nearly 21 years assigned to US bases and Europe. While in the Air Force, he held a variety of leadership and staff positions while flying Learjets, Gulfstreams and C-130 aircraft. During his tenure in the Air Force, Jeff received his MBA in Finance and after retirement has flown Airbus aircraft in the aviation industry and received his Securities & Exchange/Life & Annuities license in pursuit of his calling to serving others in personal finance.

This quote is included here because it’s important to understand that my spiritual belief is foundational in how I live my life and how I serve others. The parable of the mustard seed has always been one of my favorites as a child because it simply illustrates how even the smallest idea, thought, or action can grow to become enormous in size. Though this parable aligns well in so many aspects of our lives, within Finance it beautifully describes how our investments can grow despite humble beginnings. Every individual has the right, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, the opportunity to grow their financial health if planted in healthy soil.
